The executive board has launched its Project #1: ‘Scholarship Scheme’ for the deserving and needy students who are enrolled in Nepal Korea International College. This college formerly was known as Maranatha Mission College, is one of the best Educational Institutions in Nepal, where the students are given opportunities to be trained in courses such as business, theology, sociology, technology, computer science and information technology, Most of these degrees are recognized and accredited by the state university.

Worst of the news we often hear is that a fresh-delivering woman, a mother to new infant in the hospital silently leave and runs away, not because she wants to abandon her child, but because she cannot afford the hospital bills! News like these compels us to think and do something towards those who are unable to buy medicine for themselves and the family members under their care. We might not be able to help all destitute but at least we could a bit in the mass needing people around. This a humble gesture of welfare and humanitarian service to those who are in difficult financial situation. The medical assistance and trauma healing services are awarded to those needing people in the situation below:
1. Immediate response to natural disaster and aftermath of calamities.
2. Rescue and financial assistance to incapable of settling hospital bills.
3. Medical camps in remote and unreached villages

In Human Development Index, Nepal is still shown among the under developed or the developing countries. The entire country and the population seem like primarily waiting for any sort of disastrous situation at any time. The country is vulnerable to natural disaster, which is the prominent encounter people experience every year such wildfire and fire in residences, earthquake, flood and landslides. Other glitches like road hazards, accidents, calamities and pandemics take several lives within the given periods. Government seems to be helpless or worst to say, it cannot provide immediate services in times of urgencies, thus social and civil attempt to rescue, relief and rebuilding becomes mandatory to responsible individuals. Shalom Foundation is been much active in mobilizing resources and voluntary forces to make a quick response to any disastrous incidents such as earthquake, flood, mudslide, massive accident, pandemic and calamities.

"Shalom Enterprises and Benevolence" is a registered profit-making private company to produce, sell and create a 'welfare' movement to impact the holistic development of the country by contributing a self-help women force in self-sustain business to elevate the living standard of the families being participated. This will be women-led exemplary ethical business movement which will remain motivated to earn to serve others in need.
