"Shalom Enterprises & Benevolence" is another registered profit-making private company to produce, sell and create a 'welfare' movement to impact the holistic development of the country by contributing a self-help women force in self-sustain business to elevate the living standard of the families being participated. This will be women-led exemplary ethical business movement which will remain motivated to earn to serve others in need.
1. Project Purpose/Description:
The aim of this project is to produce skilled workforce in the field of tailoring by providing training to the selected women in the country and link them to employment opportunities. Priority for the trainees will be given to the women, the single mothers and breadwinners who are desperately in search of relief, survival skills and seed-investment to escape from extreme poverty, so they could help to raise their children and take care of their families.
2. Aims and Objectives, the project will be committed to:
• produce skillful, technical workforce in the field of tailoring.
• produce such technical workforce who will be able to provide services through the application of the skills and knowledge being as an entrepreneur.
• help the vulnerable women and their depended members in the family a better means of livelihood.
• contribute towards the national economic activities by raising skillful entrepreneurs bringing positive impact on addressing the unemployment problem and its consequences.
3. Outcomes of the Training, when the trainees will be able to:
• handle and care for the basic tools, materials, and switching machines.
• Independently carry out related work such as measurement, cutting, sewing, inspection and designing of the dresses, etc.
• prepare usual and even fancy suits and dresses, and the clothes for all use of costumes.
• carry out the related management activities, such as taking order, production, delivery, book-keeping and running small scale business.
• find, encourage and train other women to enroll in the training and assist them to become entrepreneurs.
4. An Attempt to Business as Mission
We are fully committed to enhance the work of mission. The targeted ladies are mostly yet to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. They are obviously from poorest family and background and needing help for their livelihood. This project will help them to realize the love of God through our efforts and genuine intention to lift them up.
